On January 18th at 12 in the  lobby of the Legislative Office Building, a commendation from the Governor will be presented to Leslie Frank, the New Hampshire breeder and owner of the Australian Shepherd that won BIS at the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba National Championships. With winter here, it is sled dog racing season, again.  The Citizen is reporting that: “Despite the rapid disappearance of snow from last week’s blizzard, organizers of the Laconia World Championship Sled Dog Derby are optimistic that there’ll be plenty of the white stuff in time for the 81st running of the event next month.
